Join the Buzzards Bay Coalition and the Wareham Land Trust as we honor longtime supporter, lifelong educator, and environmental advocate Richard Wheeler with a series of free kayak explorations across Wareham.
In the first event of this series, join us for an opportunity to explore the landscape and ecology of the Agawam River. We will be setting off from Whitlock’s Landing (150 Glen Charlie Rd., Wareham, MA 02538), and paddling alongside wetlands as we keep our eyes peeled for water birds and other local wildlife! The program will run from 6-8pm.
Please note that you are required to bring your own boat. If you do not have a boat, please contact Nemasket Kayak Center or bayadventures@savebuzzardsbay.org.
Space is limited and registration is required.
This program is weather dependent. Please check your email the morning of the program for any notifications or changes.
