Join the Buzzards Bay Coalition and the Wareham Land Trust as we honor longtime supporter, lifelong educator, and environmental advocate Richard Wheeler with a series of free kayak explorations across Wareham.
For our final adventure of this series, join us for an opportunity to explore the Weweantic River. We will be setting off from Weweantic River Boat Ramp (off of I-195, Wareham, MA 02576), and heading north towards Horseshoe Mill, as we keep our eyes peeled for water birds and other local wildlife! The program will run from 6-8pm.
DUE TO THE EEE RISK THIS PROGRAM HAS BEEN MOVED TO ONSET BEACH FROM 5-6PM.
Please note that you are required to bring your own boat. If you do not have a boat, please contact Nemasket Kayak Center or bayadventures@savebuzzardsbay.org. (Mention the Buzzards Bay Coalition at Nemasket Kayak for a 10% discount off of your rental!)
