Summer Weekend with the WLT

What a wonderful weekend for volunteers and members of the Wareham Land Trust to enjoy what we all love most–our beautiful, natural spaces.  The stewardship volunteers were hard at work helping with property maintenance at both the Agawam River Trail and Whitlock’s Landing. Like to kayak? Be sure to check out both for easy launches!  Also happening this weekend: Mark’s Cove trail creation with the Buzzards Bay Coalition. Now residents and visitors will have one more option when they want to get outside and enjoy a peaceful walk. We love collaborating with other conservation groups and in addition to the BBC trail work, we co-sponsored a bird walk with MA Audubon this weekend at the Great Neck Wildlife Sanctuary. 12 different bird species were either seen or heard during the walk early on Saturday morning. Thank you, JC Weber for sharing your photos of all the activities. If you’d like to be involved with stewardship or events, please email for more information! info@warehamlandtrust.org
