October Volunteer Trail Work Day at Tweedy and Barnes
We had a great turnout of members for our October Volunteer Trail Work Day today at Tweedy and Barnes! The surprisingly nice weather made it a perfect day for trail work, but with the all fall rainstorms we’ve been having this month, there was no shortage of work to do. In addition to the typical clearing of brush and small trees that have grown into the trails, we were able to clear out downed branches and a few large trees that crossed the trails. With hard work and collaboration, we were able to clear all of the trails on the property so that the community to enjoy the space to the fullest. Thank you to everyone who joined us, and a special thank you to Buzzards Bay Coalition for providing tools and Mead for his expert chainsaw skills. We hope to see you at the next Volunteer Trail Work Day!
