Earth Day Events – April 22

Join the Wareham Land Trust for an afternoon of Earth Day celebration fun.

12pm – 2pm: Lunch with the Land Trust

Come out to Stonebridge Bar and Grill to meet the land trust staff and board members. We’ll talk about some of the new and exciting projects we have in the works, and Stonebridge will donate 15% of all sales between 12pm and 2pm to WLT. So order that appetizer or an extra dessert and help us protect our natural spaces in Wareham!

2pm – 3pm: Beach Walk

WLT Executive Director, Elise Leduc-Fleming, will lead a shoreline walk at WLT’s North Water Street Beach property. Come learn about everything from our avian friends to crabby critters.

3pm – 4pm: Craft Hour

Bring you shell collection or comb the beach for materials to make your own shell sculptures. Materials will be provided to craft a souvenir to commemorate the Earth Day you’ve spent with the Wareham Land Trust!

Events are appropriate for participants and families of all ages. Select one event to participate in or join us for the whole afternoon! Registration is not required for any of the events, but is encouraged to help us plan for the number of participants attending. Registration information can be found here
