Join the Wareham Land Trust as we team up with the Wareham Free Library for a bird walk at the Douglas S. Westgate Property. As part of the library’s “Find Your Voice” theme, we’ll not only be looking for birds, but we’ll be listening for them as well. Did you know that many birds can be identified by just their songs and calls? We’ll try to find and identify the birds we encounter through all the sights, sounds and signs given, while discussing the various reasons birds vocalize. Bring binoculars if you have them. This program is free to all, but registration is requested.
