Help us conserve, care for, and connect people to the land Wareham loves.
From trail days to teaching kids about lichen, there's a place for you on the team protecting Wareham's open space. Tell us what interests you, and we'll connect you to the right people and the right events.
Still built by volunteers — and still powered by them today.
The Wareham Land Trust has protected more than 700 acres of open space, and that work has always been rooted in people who care about this community. For our first twenty years, every acre protected, trail maintained, and program offered was accomplished entirely by volunteers. While we now have two staff members, volunteers are still at the heart of everything we do. They make it possible for us to accomplish far more than our small staff ever could alone. Whether you're interested in working outdoors, helping at events, sharing a special skill, or simply lending a hand when you can, there is a meaningful role for everyone.
