2016 Tweedy and Barnes Educational Trail Sign Installation

2016 Tweedy and Barnes Educational Trail Sign Installation

Ben Hyland and Michaella Sheridan of MASSLift AmeriCorps recently completed a project started last year by Sarah Gossett. Educational signage about Wareham’s history – “from the ice age to today” – is now displayed throughout a looping trail on the Tweedy and Barnes property. Here is a great video of their time spent installing the signs.

Thank you to the Buzzards Bay Coalition for their help that day. And a big thank you to Wareham’s Boy Scout Troop #39 who helped with trail clearing and brush removal. This installation was supported by our members and a grant from the Wareham Cultural Council. Many thanks to all!
