Fly on over to Great Neck Sanctuary
on Friday, May 12th
for an evening of birding and more
with Mass Audubon and the Wareham Land Trust!
We’re celebrating spring and all its beauty: birds, blooms and warmer days a bird walk from Great Neck to the shores of the Sacred Hearts Seminary as part of Mass Audubon’s Bird-a-thon fundraiser.
Walk with the experts and enjoy access to some of the most beautiful areas in Wareham.
Dress casually, and bring gear for an outdoor adventure: sturdy shoes, binoculars and insect repellent. Meet at Great Neck and Sacred Hearts lots to park for the walk at 5:45pm. We will be covering uneven terrain that spans approximately 2 miles.
Feather the nest of environmental awareness in Wareham by sponsoring Mass Audubon’s Great Neck Birdathon team by making a donation at the event, or online here: Great Neck Birdathon Team Page!
All funds support Mass Audubon’s work in the greater Wareham area, from trail work at Great Neck to outreach activities for local schools and youth groups.
Please RSVP to Jennifer Costa jcosta@massaudubon.org or by calling (508) 636-2437 by Monday, May 8th.
