Posted June 20, 2022

Join the Wareham Land Trust as we venture into the Stoney Run property. The first half of this program will be an introduction to common invasive species in the area and a quick lesson on how to identify them. During the second half of this program, we will be continuing the work started at our June 16th volunteer day and we will be removing Asiatic bittersweet, Japanese barberry, and other invasive plants from the property using loppers, clippers, and handsaws. (Note: All tools will be provided!)

Location: Stoney Run, 600 Main Street (park on the grassy strip along the side of the road)

Date: Saturday, July 9th

Time: 10:00am – 12:00pm
