Community Preservation Coalition Success Stories

It’s always nice to be noticed. The Community Preservation Coalition, the catalyst behind the state’s Community Preservation Act campaign, which WLT founders and members enthusiastically support, is recognizing our most recent collaborative effort in their “Success Stories” category.

The project, protecting and preserving 8 acres of land along the Weweantic River as well as providing housing for local residents, was made possible by the combined talents of the Wareham Land Trust, the Buzzards Bay Coalition, Father Bill’s & MainSpring, and the CPC and residents of Wareham who helped fund a large portion of the project through the approval of Community Preservation resources.
