Wareham Land Trust 2021 Photo Contest
Deadline: Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 5pm
*The Wareham Land Trust recognizes that during this time of concern about the spread of COVID-19, it is critical to limit your contact with others and practice good hygiene. In order to practice social distancing and adhere to the stay-at-home advisory, please follow the guidelines we have set for the safety and health of the community. Use this time to explore your local environment and avoid traveling to reduce the spread of COVID-19.*
In 2000, The Wareham Land Trust was formed to protect the critical natural environment that was disappearing in Wareham; in 2001, the WLT was founded as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. With the dedication from volunteers that keep the organization running smoothly and the incredible support of our members in the Wareham community and beyond, the WLT has been able to protect over 650 acres of open space through land acquisition and conservation restrictions.
To commemorate 20 years of the Wareham Land Trust’s involvement in land conservation, we are reaching out to the WLT community to highlight the importance and beauty of land conservation through photography. Grab your camera and share your appreciation for the natural environment in Wareham!
